Through Winter Trees

A Poem Written by Vivian Ennis 04/26/2000

Through the winter breeze
and the fallen leaves

The cool crisp air
and the want to share

So bare high up there hovering
and naked without covering

So alone
looking for home

Lost in the crowd
trying not to cry out loud

Without a doubt
will they ever find out

The truths hidden deep
hiding pain buried beneath

Then the return of leaves
cover outside trees

Keeping secrets oh so well
and warmth from internal hell

I love writing everything from poetry to thoughts about life ! Some old and new words to share. I am not religious but spiritual referring to God in my work!
