A True Life Poem Story Written by Vivian Ennis 06/12/2000
This is the story of a girl.
A Story about when she came into this world.
A Brand new life, she should be free.
But she never had a chance for this be.
This girl lived a painful life,
a life filled with only strife.
She suffered a pain so deep within
a pain created by someone else’s sin.
Her family did not know
how to love her so.
The love they had wasn’t healthy;
they were average people not so wealthy.
She was never taught to see life any other way
but to get though and struggle each and every day.
The type of abuse that she endured
should not have happened to her.
And family should never do these things
to an innocent child that God brings.
But even so bad things did happen
and the little girl did not have a single weapon.
No way to defend herself her right
for all the abuse taking place in her life.
There was so much abuse and neglect to her mind
and her soul was left to far behind.
