A Poem Written by Vivian Ennis 4/28/01
I am not the greatest friend you see
I found that out when I looked deep inside of me
I make mistakes along the way
and am angry when you don’t want to stay
I don’t forgive all the time
and run on a very thin temper line
I can talk about you behind your back
that is because the integrity that I lack
And when you run a little late
I don’t ever hesitate
to let you know what you have done
As if you are the only one
Where do I have the right
To judge you and not let you win a fight
To think that I am better than you
When I look at my selfish ways I feel sort of blue
But part of me still feels justified
to walk around with such haughty pride
And act as if I were better you see
that is the friendship you can get from me
