A Poem Written by Vivian Ennis 03/05/2019
In the day she perfumes the air
Oh the sweet smelling scent of blossoming flowers
Fields of grass are forever rippling wildly
As the wind breezes by
Enhancing its beautiful scent
Evening approaches and the sun
Lazily sets down across the blue horizon
Appearing to be a mother to all the animals as they flock
To their respective places and prepare for the nightfall
Nature then puts all to sleep except the crickets
With whom she conducts a nighttime symphony
As the crickets fade off to sleep
And the new day is barley dawning
She covers the atmosphere with a misty blanket of dew
In just a short time later the sun is slowly rising higher
Starting to shine her warm rays
Across the fields of calm grass
Here the beauty of Nature is most present!
