I will miss you with all of my heart
I never knew this is how we would depart
I fed you and helped you and cared for your soul
something I wanted you to do for yourself though
I listen and cried and held your hand
and at time I was upset at you that you did not take a stand
I have all of these thoughts of you now running thought my mind
and all I can say was that we had a real good time
You made me laugh when things were not funny
and were there for me when no one else was for me
you never judged me for who I am
and stayed for me a one true friend
You listened and cared in your own special way
and at time you stayed mad at me longer then a day
all these things happened in the span of twelve years
we had joy we had fun and a lot of tears
Sometimes I wondered if you really cared
but now that you’re gone my thoughts on this have cleared
you were yourself when others wanted you to change
you did it…
