I know I am the one you are looking for
I knew it the day you knocked upon my door

I opened the door wide dropping my pride
And now I know I can never hide

I know this may sound absurd to you
The feelings that I have so soon

See I am a very special kind
One like me is hard to find

I knew when love came my way
I would recognize it any day

I'm not asking anything of you
That would make you feel very blue

I’m not asking for your heart
Just friendship and maybe a possible start

If something more is at hand
Then I want you to take as stand

But if it will never be
I will still love you so deeply
