When Life seems to get you down
and it seems as if no one else is around

Just remember in your heart
you are beautiful and really smart

In this life you must truly believe
you have every right to receive

The gifts of love from someone true
who will never make you blue

Someone who puts you first in life
filing your days with love, not strife

Never feel down when life takes a turn
and when you love you with heart always discern

Be careful whom you let come in
so you are bound to always win

Love yourself and know your own heart
for it is something that will never depart

True love comes from inside so true
if someone leaves they cannot take that away from you

It’s yours to have and to hold
this is the truth that will always unfold
