Thankfulness and other words such as love and life are thrown around every day like a meaningless vocabulary. We all know that holidays are a time for refreshing those words, by remembering to put actions of thankfulness into life. Special days like these are here to really remind us of the things we overlook on a daily basis.
Life itself has so many things in it to be thankful for! Thankfulness for life itself is a start. Life is all around us in many different aspects and forms. The gift of life is in the air, trees,water and of course even solid ground. Also in the birds that fly in the sky and the fish that swim in the ocean so wide. There is so much to be grateful for in all of the creatures that walk among us, along with all the other animals our Higher Power has created.
But it seems that on days like Thanksgiving friends and family become the very things that we hold dear and not always so dear. This time of year can be very stressful, one holiday after another . Just when you think you are finished with all this thanks in comes Christmas. There is always work to be done and sometimes the people we do not hold so dear to us, becomes the very thing…
