A True Poem Story about a little Girl who lived in a drug addicted family
Written by Vivian Ennis 06/21/2000
Hanna Banana was the nick name we all called her
she was a frail and very little white girl
her skin so white as ivory snow
she had a soft spirit and a beautiful glow
Hanna had a painful family tree
in her so called family
Things seemed one way to those outside
her family was filled with a lot of false pride
There were a lot of siblings her parents had
not enough attention to go around; made Hanna sad
never enough love to be spread around
and her mom was emotionally never to be found
Her sisters and brothers too
where emotionally neglected and this was true
There seemed to be some small amount of love though
they were not sure which way it was to go
Her parents were overwhelmed and didn't know how
to raise all these children somehow
the house was so full as can be
And Hanna became lost in it as you can see
