Changes coming on me so fast
thinking our relationship cannot last
Sorry that I made such a fuss
at first not being able to really trust
But now I’m back and ready to stay and you now seem distant
changing the way you were in the beginning so persistent
I am moving towards you now and you are pulling back
Please be honest with me if this is a fact
If you are through with me and not sure what you now want
please know I did not mean to push you away from the very start
I lacked the trust but I feel I have changed
my feelings for you are now rearranged
But no longer do you seem able to be open to me anymore
You seemed to have wanted me so much more before
I feel that you wanted the upper hand
And now feel shut down losing my stand
When did this become a competition?
I need us to resume our loves position
I need you to again be fully here
to hold me oh so very dear
